Hi! I'm Izzy, a life-long animal lover with a passion for behaviour and welfare and a background in companion animal and equine care. My love for animals really started at age 8 when I began riding lessons, ultimately leading to me working within the animal care industry and completing a degree in the area.
Aged 16, I got my first job as part of the Animal Care Team at a farm park, where I looked after a wide variety of farm animals, equines, birds and small animals. Inspired to persue a career in the animal industry, I went on to graduate Hartpury University with BSc(Hons) Applied Animal Science with Therapy. My degree covered all areas of companion animal care, including nutrition, behaviour, training and welfare.
I began looking after people's pets during my free time in 2022.
While a lot of the animals I visit are canines, I also regularly look after poultry, equines, cats and small furries.
My priority is to always put the animals' needs first; I strive to consistently work in accordance with the Five Welfare Needs (Animal Welfare Act, 2006) to ensure your pets are as content and healthy as possible.
I predominantly provide services in North Herefordshire but feel free to ask about visits further afield.
